Appointment of Mr. Kwadwo Yeboah Konadu as the New Principal of the Accra Campus of International Community School (ICS)

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Kwadwo Yeboah Konadu as the new Principal of International Community School (ICS), Accra Campus, following the retirement of the former Principal, Mr. Israel Titi-Ofei. Mr. Konadu brings with him a wealth of experience, dedication, and a passion for education that will undoubtedly elevate ICS to new heights.

A Journey of Excellence

Mr. Konadu began his teaching journey in September 2005 at the Kumasi Campus of ICS, where he quickly gained recognition as an exceptional math tutor. His commitment to excellence led him to assume the role of Numeracy Coordinator in 2008, where he further honed his skills in curriculum development and student support.

Leadership and Vision

In 2012, Mr. Konadu transitioned into a leadership position, serving as the Head of Middle School before progressing to the esteemed position of Head of Primary School from 2014 to 2022. During his tenure, he demonstrated outstanding leadership qualities and a deep understanding of pedagogy, fostering a culture of academic achievement and holistic student development.

A Cambridge Advocate

Mr. Konadu’s transfer to the Accra Campus of ICS in 2022 as the Head of Curriculum and Instruction showcased his deep knowledge of the Cambridge Programme and educational practices. His subsequent promotion to Vice Principal in 2023 highlighted his pivotal role in enhancing educational outcomes for all learners at the Accra Campus while spearheading professional development initiatives for staff.

Empowering Educators

Beyond his roles within the school, Mr. Konadu has been instrumental in establishing and overseeing the Cambridge Professional Development program in Ghana since 2015. His dedication to empowering educators through the Cambridge Educational Leadership and Teaching Qualifications demonstrates his commitment to academic excellence and student success.

A Stellar Academic Background

Mr. Konadu holds a B.Ed. in Science and an M.Ed. in Educational Administration from the University of Cape Coast. His exceptional abilities in curriculum design and leadership make him an asset to the ICS Accra community, where his poise for excellence continues to inspire and elevate the educational experience for all.
