Welcoming New Principal of ICS Accra Campus

International Community School (Accra Campus) is delighted to appoint Mr. Israel Titi Ofei as the new Principal to help champion the vision of International Community School in Accra, Ghana.

Mr. Israel Titi Ofei has a BSc in Chemistry and attended an MA in Education programme at the Oxford Brookes University, United Kingdom. He has been a teacher of long standing, first at the prestigious Achimota School, Ghana, then for the past twenty-four years, at SOS-Hermann Gmeiner International College (SOS-HGIC), where he first served as Vice Principal before moving on to become the Principal. In his new role, he’s bringing on board years of experience in Education as the new principal of ICS Accra Campus.

Mr. Israel Titi-Ofei was also an Educational Consultant for the International Finance Corporation’s (IFC) educational programs in Ghana, as well as a member of the Educational Expert Team for the SOS Kinderdorf International Organization’s present Educational Policy. He was a part of Ghana’s educational reform effort, acting as a Trainer of Trainers during the 1987 changes. He was a part of it.

Integrity, compassion, the bravery to do the right thing, and respect for everybody, especially children, are among Mr. Ofei’s basic values. He believes that with the correct help, all children can learn successfully, and he is dedicated to lifelong learning.
