Facilities

The learning atmosphere is an important factor in a student’s conducive study. The ICS campus provides learners with a serene, comfortable and green environment for maximum well-being. Our architecture is unique, and the school has the following resources at your child’s disposal.

Boarding Houses

While a lot of our learning happens in classrooms, fellowship with peers and the development of community-mindedness are vital. ICS has three spacious boarding houses where students learn a variety of skills which make for a well-rounded individual.

Science Labs

Our cutting edge equipment and facilities in the lab are truly a pleasure to behold. We have science labs for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, as well as a lab for our Middle school.

Art Classrooms

Art is very important at ICS. It is a means to creatively express thought and a skill that is relevant to all disciplines. The school has three dedicated art studios which service the school community.

Libraries

Reading is key to the acquisition of knowledge. The school has two main libraries that cater to the whole school with tens of thousands of books that students can refer to and borrow at their leisure. In the Primary-schools there are also class libraries.

Counseling Centre

Our students and staffs emotional well-being are very important to us. All are welcome to our counseling centre for appointments with our school counselor. For our final year students, we also have continuous university guidance counseling at the same venue.

Auditorium

Our spacious auditorium is used to hold weekly Chapel meetings, as well as various activities such as spelling bees, plays, and inter-house competitions.

Buses

The school provides safe transportation to and from our Pakyi campus to our Pre-school location in town via several comfortable buses.

Dining Halls & Snack Bar

The dining halls are places for students and staff to eat community meals together and listen to various daily announcements. The well-stocked snack bar provides healthy snacks and light meals for students and staff.

Sports Arena

The school has a large green football pitch as well as basketball court, volley-ball court, badminton court, ultramodern gym, tennis court, Olympic size swimming and a recreational swimming pool. The students enjoy their PE lessons and leisure time at these facilities.

ICT Labs

The school has several ICT labs around campus which are meant for student use. We run the BYOD (bring your own device) system, which allows students in the high school to bring their own IT devices to school.

Media Rooms

Fitted with Projectors, Active Boards and Smart Boards. Our media rooms allow teachers to stimulate pupils with various types of audio and visual media to enhance learning.

Language Rooms

Bonjour! Our language lab is a dedicated space which allows students to use resources related to French study.

Sick Bay

Run by our warm and caring Senior Nurse and her nursing assistant, the sick bay is ever prepared to administer first-aid to students who are unwell.

Kitchen

The ICS kitchen is a place for us to grow in vitality and wellness through the joy of preparing and sharing wholesome, healthy food for our students and staff. Meals are prepared under a strict hygienic environment.
