ICS Students Embarking onĀ  Language Immersion Trip to France

ICS, in partnership with the AKAYE French Center, is sending a select group of its students to France today. This much-anticipated Language Immersion Stay promises to allow participants to fully immerse themselves in the French language and culture. The program is designed to provide an unforgettable experience, enhancing students’ linguistic skills and expanding their knowledge about French culture.

The itinerary promises a blend of educational and cultural activities. Highlights include:

  • Donjon of Niort: Students will embark on a guided tour of this historic castle.
  • Port Boinot Museum: A deep dive into local history and culture.
  • Chocolate Workshop: Hands-on experience in crafting delicious chocolates.
  • Bakery Visit: Witness the traditional process of making baguettes, croissants, and chocolatine.

The adventure continues in La Rochelle with a visit to the famous aquarium, a tour of the old port, and an exploration of the city centre. In Poitiers, students will enjoy a day at the Futuroscope Park, known for its innovative attractions.

No trip to France would be complete without experiencing the iconic sights of Paris. Therefore, our students will visit the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre Museum, followed by self-guided tours and exceptional shopping opportunities.
