Aumund Foundation’s Life-Changing Support Empowers Orphan Girls

Over the past five years, the Aumund Foundation, based in Germany, has provided full scholarships to 14 bright orphan girls to attend ICS as boarding students, adding four new beneficiaries each year.

Yesterday, we were honoured to host Ms. Susanne Weiss from the Foundation at our Accra Campus, where she met all 14 scholarship recipients in person for the first time.

Beyond tuition and boarding, Aumund continues to open global doors for our students, this year sponsoring two girls to join the Round Square International Conference in Dubai, and next year, three more will participate in the Inspiring Voices Programme in the UK, a joint initiative between Aumund and Round Square.

On her first visit to Ghana, Ms. Weiss expressed her admiration for the warmth of our people and the beauty of our campus.
