 In ICS Ghana Facilities

On Thursday, we were honored to have Director of Responsible Investment at AfricInvest, Abir Attia, and a Senior Investment Manager at Africinvest Paul Okunaiya visit our Kumasi and Accra campuses.

They were accompanied by managers of two of their major investors, CDC in the UK and Proparco in France.

They held meetings with senior managers of ICS in both cities.

Our Director, Dr. Charles Yeboah and Chief Operating Officer, Mark van Rooyen took them on a tour of our facilities including the 220 capacity  residential facility for girls at our Kumasi campus which is near completion.

In Accra, they toured our newly constructed  Senior High School campus at Ogbojo and visited the site for the second phase of the school’s expansion project.

International Community Schools has been in partnership with AfricInvest, a private equity firm based in North and Sub-Sahara Africa since 2017.

The partnership is in line with the school’s vision of becoming the leading K-12 educational institution in Ghana and the sub region.
