The Pope was at the closing ceremony of the children’s global summit which run from 27 – 30 November, 2019 with more than 2,500 young delegates from over 46 countries from across the world in attendance.

In his address to the student change leaders, the pontiff cautioned against the trap of exclusivity. “We must not be deceived and fall into the trap of exclusivity. You have understood that “I can” must become “we can together”. Together it is more beautiful and more effective! I can, we can, together.” he said.

During the summit, ICS student delegates made a presentation of their impactful project on the fight against malaria at the Pakyi campus.

It was not all work! DFC Ghana team also took some time off to take in the sights and sounds of Rome, touring historical sites such as the Capitolini Museum.

The team was led by Ms. Yvette Osekereh.
