Fourteen students from the school’s Design for Change Club (DFC) left Accra on Monday, November 25 to represent Ghana at this year’s iCAN Global Children’s Summit in Rome.

Children change makers from over 40 countries are expected to attend the summit from November 27 – 30, 2019.

They will hold discussions, share experiences and make presentations on various life changing projects they have undertaken within their communities.

Led by ICS staff, Ms. Yvette Osekereh, Ms. Patricia Owusu Ansah and Mr. Emmanuel Hooper, the students are expected to present to the summit, a campaign on malaria prevention they run in the school.

Design for Change is a global movement that cultivates the ‘I can mindset’ in every child.
